Air in your steam system is a hidden efficiency killer. Dissolved air in feedwater, or air trapped during startup, leads to slow heating, equipment corrosion, inconsistent batch times, and steam trap air-locking.

The Forbes Marshall Air Vent (FMAV) is a solution consisting of a balanced pressure thermostatic steam trap assembly specifically engineered to aggressively and effectively vent trapped air from steam mainlines and process equipment. It is installed at the highest point of the equipment, ensuring rapid system heating and maintains optimal steam temperatures.
